An appreciation post

I should post this some time ago... but i didnt have the time to blog...

When i was sick, i want to thank darling for being super nice to me, came to my place and acc me the whole night. I was sleeping, and he was there doing his thesis, seeing the SS Cafe Corner close shop wee hours in the morning, also, seeing the SS Cafe Corner opens up the next morning... and then, he got sick himself because he got too tired...Thank you Guan Tan!

I asked for plain porridge, and he bought me this to go with porridge... so thoughtful of him! It's preserved lettuce! i really like to eat such food! He's my meal provider for the whole period when im sick. so Every noon and night i will be anticipating for what he'lll buy for me! wakakaa.. Morning doesnt have because i was still sleeping and so was he!

Okla.. actually i wanted to dedicate this post to Gee Oon Oon and Huon Hie Kiong for making gui ling gao for me when i was sick. But, i dont want to just post the gui ling gao they've made, because my photography skill isn't that good, which makes the gui ling gao doesnt look really pleasant. hehe.. so i inserted Guan Tan's goodness! Anyhow, i'm not sure if it's the first time they make gui ling gao because the outlook is kind of out of shape. but it does taste bitter minty. If there's honey, it would taste much better! Hehe.,, ok ok.. i'm commenting not criticizing okie. i sincerely thank them for coming to my house to send me this gui ling gao! That's why i must post this up!

I must really thank God for giving me this opportunity to know you guys! Through thick and thin, i see you guys by my side, THANK YOU GOD! especially roomie darling! You were always by my side when i needed you most! Dont' go back hometown after grad la, come and become my housemate if i work in Selangor! I missed Room 152!!!!!!!!

The unfinished business

THURSDAY...
Sickness... examination... thesis.... sickness... examination... thesis... Naively, everyone thought it would be a finished business after the amendment for the thesis.. However, on a sickly thursday evening, my phone beeped and it says "tell all students under me not to go back home before they finished their thesis. Extend it to 100 pages".. What the #@$#! I had just got back my 1st draft and were to amend it to be submitted 2mr and now We have like less than 24 hours to write about 35 pages of academic writing. Well hulloooo~~~ what's the point of having workshops when you could just send an irresponsibble SMS just like that. Whatmore i just got high fever with flu and cough on the exact same day? What am i suppose to do? Let my brain get drained and burnt to complete this dissertation? Monday have to print hard cover and you'll be flying to a different part of the world on tues for a week.

Whatever it is, i rested myself till the next morning and start making amendments before submitting the 2nd draft... You could have just told us earlier and save us from despising you!

FRIDAY...
So.. most of us did not did what he said and just submitted what we can today. After submitting Guan sent me to PK. Doctor said i need rest, quite serious fever with minimal cough. " You should sleep for a day or two". How to sleep so much wor i still have dissertation and finals... Then i receive another sms " you may submit your 3rd draft on 27/4, amend it thoroughly, format, spelling, read 5 times before submitting" and to quote " WORK HARD AND SMART, PRODUCE HIGH QUALITY OUTPUTS" ... no problem i still can take it.. but about 100 pages... what for? what's the point of squeezing unnescessary information to produce high quality of thickness in a book. THICKNESS isn't equivalent to QUALITY!!!! Ok ok not exactly unnecessary information. i understand you just want a high quality outputs but you should understand we have finals now and dissertation ISNT EVERYTHING. and and i just felt that it's the ego in you that makes you treat us so. Just because all of your students do a 100 page of dissertation doesnt mean you are any higher class than other lecturers okie.


Lunch hour...waiting for the counter to open. Hey the information desk lady was real rude. i kindly, nicely, gently asked "hi, can i know where can i get the number"? there the lady answered rudely and with a dark face replying " you can have everything you want when we are opened"... Wey.. dont know how to answer nicely mer... sick person also have to face healthy person's emo face~~~ And Malaysian preached " Budi Bahasa Budaya Kita".. Tepuk dada tanya selera... do you ever preach what you talk? Loudly and widely advertised but culture remains~~~ What are the cultures? Have no sense of etiquette, does not understand the meaning of queues, even cross road also dont know how to cross faster! You're not moulded to act so...Education doesnt teach us so.. Where do you learn then?

Haha.. dont ask me why i put this up! probably i just want to put it in memory for my first and last time visiting PK as a patient!

I doubt if i can finish it my dissertation..44 pages~~~ but there's not a "no" in trying. Gonna try my best!

Day 2 lectures

After a whole night and wee hours in the morning struggling to finish my speech and SCL homework, i ended up knowing that my public speaking class has been cancelled and MY LEADERSHIP LECTURER SAID WANNA CHECK ON SCL HOMEWORK AND HE DID NOT CHECK AT ALL!!!!!!!!!pissed! wasted all my efforts where i should be relaxing after presentation but ended up giving my quarter best to finish my homeworks! CIS BEDEBAH! Hmmmmph! Ok la, forgive you lecturers la.. Eventually i did enjoy my day besides being pissed! Plus i would need to attend another replacement class which is now still unknown regarding the date venue and time, to do my presentation~~~ hye.. Forget it, let's move forward to happiness!

Get to know class cancelled only when we reach our fac.. and so, i started my picture taking session! Leng San's going for an interview! How nice! How aggresive he is in finding jobs! i havent send my resumes...i most probably gonna kahwin and wait for someone to come propose me~~~~~~~~hahhahaha..im kidding! i want to goyang kaki and jadi boss!!!!

We are not scandalous! no worries! He is scandalous with someone else!He's sometimes good, most of the time evil! Wakaka.. Only true friends makes such comment!

Thesis Presentation- Day 1

Yay Yay Yay... HURRAY!!! Ahh... i'm so filled with happiness right after my presentation today, which is also the first day of the presentation week. Gosh, all those butterflies in my stomach had now flied far far away.. wakkaa.. uh oh.. i actually have no intention of posting any post on Day 2.. it's just because our presentation's on the first day, so i happily named it Day1...

Makmal Pidato, Leng San's slides displayed on the LCD. This is the scariest place to present because the invigilators here were more strict! Really, maybe not that scary but Bilik Anjung Bestari is much more cozier and less tembakan!

The Perodua Salesman alike is presenting on DIGI advertising! Wakaka.. He really looks like a salesman..

Next, is our Datin Besar Lee... Fuh, presented bersemangat-ly! She's really nervous before that!

Ahhh.. Dont kacau me!!! Im BUSY preparing myself! Phoebe played with her phone while waiting for the presentation to start~~~

3 MINIT LAGI!!! HABIS MASA!!! Chilled! Suddenly i saw this signboard and start playing with it! Took pictures with kak sya and Eas when the invigilators weren't there yet.

I've finished presenting!!!!.. No pictures for that.. no one took pics of me.. huhu.. anyhow.. the funniest thing that happened was, i laughed at the very beginning of my presentation. I dont know if this was considered lucky, but there were 2 invigilators who were Pak Ngah the lecturer and Mahfuz the tutor.. Then Pak Ngah left the room for the loo and asked me to proceed. So, when i wanted to start presenting, Mahfuz's phone rang and he picked up, and i was so blurred thinking should i start or wait. Then he signalled me to proceed, i was like "HUH" ... ok lor, as i was facing him and not the audience, i presented to an invigilator who was on the phone. Weird! Because i felt like i'm talking to myself. FUNNY! So i laughed and looked at the audience and laughed again till Phoebe asked me to Quick! Present! Then i quickly presented, simply presented till suddenly Dr Siti came in in the midst of my presentation. So... at the end of the presentation, i was only questioned on my research methodology and some minor mistakes in objectives and findings title as well as why i didnt put future research in my slides. THAT'S ALL!!!!!! YAY.. it wasnt hard!

Ching Ee and Leng San came out of their class earlier to come and see how i sucked in my presentation! haha...My audience, my supporters again!They were supposed to boo the invigilators if they were harsh on me! But they didnt ,so, San and Be neednt need to BOO! HAHA...

Last presenter! Yen Shi! This was the time when out of a sudden, Dr Sham, Dr Jusang and Pak Ngah came in... But everything went smoothly!

But we are not from the department of english! lolz...I havent receive the other pictures which is still safely stored in Be's camera.. San, Be, Peggy will be presenting on Wednesday! Wish them luck! ALL THE BEST!!!!!!!!

I'M SOoooOOOOoo ON TOP OF THE WORLD NOW.. But out of a sudden, reality hits me down! I still have to preapre persuasive speech for presentation tomorrow morning and SCL homework for leadership com! EVIL!... Back to work....
